Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Opus is a mixed-use development of commercial and retail district located in the Business Bay in Dubai.
The Opus is a building of fluid space that refutes traditional definitions of office functionality. Comprising three separate towers the building appears as a singular unified whole, which hangs from the floor with a vacuum in a free badge.
The interiors of which are coated with a fully engineered curved wall of glass curtain wall to allow striking views in a vacuum.
Reflective patterns in the form of sintered pixelated striations are applied onto the glass facade to provide a degree of reflectivity and materiality to the cube while assisting in the reduction of solar gains inside the building.
