Architectural Renderings Design House | New Landscape Institute in Cairns Australia

A AUS $ 25 million project, the Institute of Cairns, located in northern Queensland,Australia, is a research center, housing specialists in the social sciences, the fields of humanities, law and business to examine issues of importance to people in the tropics. Deigned by Woods Bagot Architects and the RPA have been awarded theDesign Institute of Cairns, located in the James Cook University (JCU) Cairnscampus.

The skin of an evolving landscape, known as "backpack" that defines theencapsulated construction and aesthetic and solar control and a variety ofecologies microclimate around the building to suit its function and orientation are some of the design elements that have been proposed. The facades and interior spaces and functions can be seen through the lattice. In places the draft internal elements through the lattice, and there are holes in the fabric that connects theindoor and outdoor spaces with the landscape.
