Architectural Renderings House-Modern Renovation of Shanghai’s Waterhouse Hotel

The old 1930’s warehouse that placed in the hearth of Shanghai has been renovayed recently. The renovation work done by Neri & Hu Research and Design Office (NHRDO).

Now the old warehouse become a new small, elegant and modern hotel in the city.

With the renovation, this hotel has 19 room that available to rent. The renovation not remove the original concrete building, but still keeping the original form and add with some new or modern design that will make them look so contrast but beautiful.

In the old times,this warehouse use as a port warehouse since the located was on the Huangpu River banks. Thanks to the renovation, now this warehouse looks simple with senses open building with public and private spaces merge in the the many preserved passages and the new bright airy courtyard. With this unique presence, hope that there will be a lot of visitor will come.

In addition this hotel offers free single-speed bikes to their tenant to get around and explore the busy neighborhoods, go shopping in the traditional Fe Yue shoe market, or Anxi market that sell second hand clothing.

And of course, after a long day of sight-seeing, the Shanghai’s best Chinese doctors and acupuncturists its the best choice to relax that recomended by the hotel.
