Architectural Renderings House-Fascinating Reuse Material For Pavilion Design

There are new development at University of Applied Sciences in Detmold, Germany. The development is extraordinary Boxel pavilion out of 2,000 beer crates that created by their own student. The pavilion is part of develop structures from computer modeling project.

The result is a full-scale pavilion that use to spent summer on campus. Its also providing the coolest music venue around.

The stuudents assembly the computer modeling to establish load bearing and positioning of the crates. After a few assembly tests done, they went about set up the structure using screws and slats, bracing for the upper part, and concrete-filled boxes for the base.


And all the construction Process took about one week.

The main raw material uses old beer crates that donated by a local brewery. The reuse of materials and intent of the project reminds us of the Be Paletto pallet pavilion, but the structural system is reminiscent of the Cell Brick house starting from the form, function, and materials all blended to a cohesive whole. After the pavilion comes down they will be recycled.
