Architectural Renderings House-Modern Green Design Edward M. Kennedy Institute

The design of the new United States Senate’s Edward M. Kennedy Institute that will be located near to the existing John F. Kennedy Library and will be designed as a compliment to the famed library.

This expansive block building will be used to host educational programs that focused on bringing public awareness to the history and activities of the United States Senate. And the men who behind this project is Rafael Viñoly Architects.


This 40,000 square foot Institute will be design with white precast concrete with punched window openings or will reflect a similar but smaller square volume. The skylight will built extend to the lobby to provide natural light throughout the visitor entryway. This building mainly consist of classrooms, educational exhibits and also the senat chamber.

And so, the overall aesthetic of the building and site have been designed to compliment the neighboring JFK Library. the architech really make sustainable design, that have add and implemented green design features in the plan of the institute to get LEED standards. The construction will begin in this fall on the  University of Massachusetts Boston.
