Puente de Venecia \ A-001 Architectural Workshop

A-001 Architectural Workshop has designed the Museum-Bridge in Venice, Italy.

The arch as a string instrument that inspires the structural melody of a bridge in Venice, two points of tension and multiple lines that distribute the forces. This project is the alternative of an uncommon solution: proving that the equilibrium, does not require symmetry.

The intention of the bridge is to have a different experience during the crosswalk between two islands, and brings the opportunity to show some architectural records of Venice, Italy, we are proposing a museum that resumes the knowledge as a contemporary propose that exhibits the jewels of the past.

This Project was entrusted by the government of the Italian city as a substitution of the "Academy Bridge". It´s a disagreement converted into an encounter point, happening into a communication way.

The tension is resolved as a work of art, in hands of an expert.
