Architectural Renderings House-Peaceful Nassim Villas at Singapore

Zaha Hadid Architects just finished their latest project called Nassim Villas. It was a pair of luxurious garden-filled homes.

It’s currently under construction on a lot that diagonally faces the Singapore Botanical Gardens, the modern structures are tied seamlessly into the hilly landscape with a series of terraces and ramps.

An innovative cantilever add to the design by extending the topography into the sky, while also reducing sun exposure at the western façade and doubling as a rooftop terrace.

Tall tropical hardwood trees flank the estate, allowing it to melt into the plot of land even more. The meandering paths and ramps that connect the spaces dip down to a garage at the lowest level and then up to a peaceful pool and finally to the homes themselves.

While curvy and glossy in design, the low-lying villas seem to blend effortlessly into the greenery that surrounds them.

Fiber-reinforced plastic and Corian are some of the materials being considered for the interior elements and glazing. The interiors have the same fluid lines that the exteriors do, and have sloped floor to ceiling windows for daylight. Just like the curvy levels outside, some rooms within the home dip down to create nooks for other rooms.
